Project Description

Tomatillo is a Mexican restaurant that strives to create healthy, organic and fresh food. It promotes the local farmer markets and all of the products used are organic and locally grown. Its mission is to have a low-impact in the environment by using compostable packaging. Mexican food has the reputation of being greasy, and not the most healthy. Tomatillo’s concept is to give a healthy approach to Mexican cuisine.


Objective

Create the concept and logo for an organic Mexican restaurant. The main focus of the business should be to create healthy, organic and fresh food. It should promote a sense of community, local farmer markets and low-impact in the environment.

Target Audience

The restaurant would be located in Vancouver. It is targeting a youth audience that likes Mexican cuisine and that is interested in healthy, organic food. The business has affordable prices and it promotes locally grown produce. The ideal persona for this place would be a young adult between 25 and 35 interested in low-impact in the environment, healthy lifestyle and local support.
